Position Summary
We are seeking a data-driven and analytical VP of E-commerce to own and scale our DTC, Amazon, and TikTok Shop channels. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive paid media strategy, optimizing acquisition and retention efforts, and building a profitable e-commerce growth flywheel. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a focus on measurable results and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a growth hacker at heart—obsessed with data, analytics, and testing—and has a proven track record of profitably scaling DTC businesses. This individual will partner closely with our VP of Marketing and media agency to drive sustainable customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end strategy
for our e-commerce business, including DTC (subscription-focused), Amazon, and TikTok Shop channels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and brand.
Develop and execute a full-funnel digital marketing strategy
in partnership with Director of Growth that maximizes top-line sales while maintaining efficiency across all paid media channels, including: Google Ads, Facebook / IG Ads, Tiktok Ads, OTT, Affiliate & Paid Partnerships.
Experience building and developing
a lean ecommerce team, maximizing capabilities and resources of team members.
Leverage data and advanced analytics
to build a profitable e-commerce flywheel, using A/B testing, cohort analysis, LTV/CAC modeling, and attribution to drive decision-making.
Optimize subscription business
Focus on increasing LTV, reducing churn, and improving retention strategies.
Expand acquisition channels
Explore and test new acquisition channels beyond existing platforms, including affiliates, influencers, and partnerships.
Collaborate cross-functionally
Work closely with VP of Marketing to align paid media with content, creative, and influencer marketing efforts.
Lead with a test-and-learn mindset
Drive growth through rapid experimentation and optimization across all channels.
Stay ahead of industry trends
Act as the thought leader on emerging platforms, privacy laws, and best practices in e-commerce and paid media.
Reporting & KPIs:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for acquisition, retention, and overall e-commerce performance. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on results, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
9+ years of experience in e-commerce growth, acquisition, and retention for DTC CPG or Health/Wellness brands, with a proven track record of scaling revenue profitably.
4+ years of hands-on experience managing key ad platforms: Facebook/Instagram, Google/YouTube, and TikTok.
Deep expertise in Google Ads: Including Shopping, Search, Display, and YouTube.
Obsession with data: Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data, build actionable insights, and implement changes quickly.
Proven track record of building subscription models: Experience in increasing LTV and reducing churn.
Hands-on approach: Willingness to dig into the details while also setting high-level strategy.
Experience with Influencer Marketing: Ability to drive both top-of-funnel awareness and bottom-of-funnel conversions.
Strong financial acumen: Familiarity with P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting for e-commerce.
Passion for health and wellness: Enthusiasm for the industry and our mission to improve nutrient absorption and efficacy.

Compensation & Details
Compensation: $200-250k + bonus + equity + benefits
Location: Remote (California preferred)
